When Think started way back…oh, I can’t remember when, it attracted a few hundred visits each week. Gratifyingly we now have thousands passing by. More visits mean more comments and we haven't yet worked out how to handle this. Clearly, some posts generate more comments than others, but regardless of numbers we'd like to engage more with comments, but simply don't have the time. This is compounded by the fact that when we first launched Think, part of Jennie’s employment was to look after the site and that meant she could give some attention to comments. This is no longer the case.

Often comments are helpful, but sometimes not so much. Some comments demand responses that we are not providing, while others which – to be honest – need deleting might not even be spotted by us. None of this is ideal, so we’re going to be suspending comments for a while until we can get a better idea of how to proceed. We know this will upset some of you, and you’re welcome to protest about it on your own website! Others of you will no doubt be relieved. Either way, we will please some and upset others; but that’s fairly par for the course with this blog anyway!

Thanks for visiting, and reading: sorry about the commenting.
